Technology and parenting

Like it or not, technology is here to stay, whether it’s using a CRM to target your customers or texting your kids that it’s time to do homework. And, when you think about it, the issues really aren’t that different. Technology makes a lot of things easier, but it also worms its way into so many facets of our lives that it’s easy to lose control. The resulting merger of technology and parenting is a topic I’ve focused on several times in my parenting blog, 50ish With a Full Nest.

One of my posts, Teens, Tech, and Money: Getting Control of Those Mystery Charges, got picked up and syndicated by Reality Moms. I thought my readers here might find it interesting, especially if you’re spending time with family (and away from work) over the holidays. I’d love to read any comments you have, whether they’re from the business perspective or the parenting perspective (or both!).
